419 Delegates At stake As GOP Candidates Look To Super Tuesday

The largest single day of voting in the Republican presidential race is two days away, with 419 delegates at stake in 10 states.

Mitt Romney enters with 203 of the 1,144 he needs to secure the nomination. He's coming off his fourth consecutive win, after taking Washington state's caucuses yesterday by a double-digit margin. Today he picked up the endorsement of the No. 2 Republican in the House, Eric Cantor.

Rick Santorum is second in the delegate count with 92, but he's suggesting he could do better if the field narrows. Appearing on "Fox News Sunday," Santorum says he's been splitting conservatives --he describes them as the "anti-Romney vote" -- with Newt Gingrich.

Meanwhile, Gingrich says he has no doubts that the Republican candidates eventually will unite behind the party's nominee, despite the tough rhetoric they've been exchanging during the campaign. Appearing on NBC's "Meet the Press," Gingrich says the GOP's goal is to deny President Barack Obama a second term.

Ron Paul is also seeking to keep his candidacy afloat. He's off to campaign in Alaska, one of the 10 states voting on Super Tuesday.

This should seal it for Mittens and the re-election of Obama. While the Repugs are all concerned about birth control the country is slowly recovering from the last Repug mess. You know if that mess stunk the last time (and you can still smell it), the next one is going to be even nastier if a Republican gets elected. For all except for the 1% they represent, of course. They did well in the last recession and they plan to do even better in the next one of their making.

Unfortunantly this mess is owned by both parties, and untill blind followers such as yourself realise this there is little hope of change.

Funny, when the Repugs crash the economy (last two recessions, last two Bushs) it's EVERYBODYs fault. When Bush cherry picks and manipulates intelligence to get Congress to go along with his phoney WMD war, it was EVERYBODYs idea to go to war. Maybe you should start taking responsibility for your own mistakes.

Sorry, Obama is intentionally crashing the US economy anyway he can and he had support to do it. He wants communism, not socialism. You either work for them and further his agenda Barlow, or you are a devout communist yourself. Beck was right from the very beginning. You communists wanted him to keep quiet but the cat is out of the bag now. This is you blueprint for NC communists and who supports them; http://www.nccivitas.org/2010/single-seed-grows-many-branches-acorn-s-web-connections-nor/

Barlow I'm sorry, you are absolutely correct, your understanding of the present political situation is amazing. It never occurred to me how easy it would be to just ignore the facts and place my trust in those that know best. > sarcasm off < (I owe you one USA) Also your last sentence is the pinacle of hipocracy.

No, this mess is not owned by both parties....Bush inherited a surplus and gave it all away to his wealthy buddies, I don't recall seeing any of the wealthy struggling or fighting in his wars. Then started 2 wars, based on lies he and Cheney fabricated. Amazed at the select memory you have.

The national debt increased under me also, just not as much as Bush #43 and no where close to the amount Obama has increased the debt!!

Only and idiot would post against the GOP after Obama put us into 16 trillion in debt, gas prices rising and unemployed...are more than during the great depression. Party? Open you eyes...party is what you did. As a democrat, I would never be so irresponsible as to vote for Obama. Sorry, I don't believe in socialism or communism. If you cannot see what is going on, stay home, don't vote and for gods sake, don't drive either.

Your total LACK of common sense never ceases to amaze those with REAL common sense. Obama DID IN FACT cause the largest majority of the problems we are facing today. Most of us ARE going to vote to let the Republicans fix Obama's mess and you can't do anything about it.

Where are you getting this MOST OF US stuff? If you took the time to pull your head out of their, you will see a record low turnout for the GOP candidates. Welcome to the REAL WORLD.

That's their problem, They have been denying President Obama a second term from "day one". All their focus has been on this, They place "party over country". Is their any doubt that these morons are not concerned about the middle class?

None of them including the current President are concerned with anything but themselves in any way, except winning the election. None of them really care about this country or anything it stands for. And Obama's only focus is making sure none of them win the election so he can stay where he is, to continue his lifestyle of thumbing his nose at the middle class.

Yep, ever since we discovered his motive to destory America, we have been against him. If you follow the leads on this diagram, everyone is connected to communists and the overthrow of our current system. What does that have to do with the price of pork in Zimbabwe? You really don't know how much I don't care for political hype from Media Matters. Unlike yourself, I go there to see what the latest lies that the libterds are putting out there and distributing. All bought and paid for by George Soros, just like Obama.
