The Kennedy Space Center is renaming one of its facilities in honor of the first person to walk on the moon.
That person is Neil Armstrong who was the first person to set foot on the moon in 1969. Armstrong died back in 2012.
The space center's historic Operation and Checkout Building will be named after the moonwalker.
Sunday marked the 45th anniversary of Apollo 11's landing on the moon.
