You've likely heard that dogs are man's best friend, and one dog in Jacksonville is proving that saying true.
Able is a three-year-old Harrier Hound from the program Canines for Service. He's specially trained to work with Marine Veteran James Rytych.
Rytych suffered a traumatic brain injury and severe back injury after three deployments to the middle east.
After training with the dog, Rytych says his day to day burden of pain is decreased - all thanks to the dog that's able to open doors, pick up cell phones, even load the washing machine.
Rytych says Able is a great asset. "If I go to the store and there's stuff on the bottom shelf that I want, I can point at it with the laser and tell him to take it and put it in the basket for me."
