The Marine Corps says a Marine wanted after allegedly making a threat to another Marine has been detained.
Because of the threat there was increased security measures at Cherry Point where both Marines are stationed. A Cherry Point spokesman says security at the air station is now back to normal.
Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point increased security measures today while a search is being conducted for a Marine who sent a threatening text message to another Marine according to Mike Barton,
Deputy Director of Public Affairs at MCAS Cherry Point and 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing.
Civilian law enforcement authorities have been notified and are on the lookout for the Marine.
