The Navy's Blue Angels have arrived at Cherry Point for this weekend's big air show.

The air show opens Friday night with the Blue Angels taking to the skies at 7:30 p.m. They are also scheduled to fly around 3:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, while other private stunt pilots and the Marine Air Ground Task Force will fly through the weekend.

The six F/A-18 Hornets arrived this morning at the air station.

The Marine Corps expects some 150,000 people to attend this year's show. General admission for the show is free, but you can purchase premium seating. This year's show celebrates 100 years of Marine Corps aviation and 70 years of flight at Cherry Point.

Gates open at 5:00 p.m. Friday, and 8:00 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.
