Memorial Service Scheduled In Alabama For Local Coast Guard Member

US Coast Guard officials say a memorial service is planned Thursday to honor the crew of a helicopter that crashed in Mobile Bay a week ago.

That crew consisted of Lt. Commander Dale Taylor of Snow Hill in Greene County. He was one of four killed when a Coast Guard helicopter crashed during a training mission on February 28th.

Taylor leaves behind a wife and two children. Thursday's memorial service is at the Coast Guard Aviation Center in Mobile Alabama.
