Marine Corps Celebrates 236th Birthday

The Marine Corps is turning 236 years old Thursday Nov. 10.

Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in Havelock will host a uniform pageant and cake cutting ceremony on Tuesday in honor of the milestone. The pageant will feature uniforms and weapons of past and present. The event will take place at the air station parade deck at 9 a.m.
