Lenovo Donates Computer Technology To USO

Soldiers looking to get to computers to take care of everything from social media to house-hunting can find what they're looking for at any of five USO of North Carolina centers thanks to a donation from Lenovo.

The agency has announced that Lenovo has made a $40,000 computer technology donation to the centers.

USO of NC president John Falkenbury said the state-of-the-art technology will be located at its centers at Charlotte Douglas, Raleigh-Durham, Fort Bragg, Fayetteville and Jacksonville airports. He said the equipment will be available for troops and their families to use visiting the centers.

Falkenbury said USO staff will also be using the equipment for administrative purposes.
