The state's Veterans' Nursing Home on Hull Road, near the Caswell Center could open this summer. According to officials there have been some delays since construction began in the summer of 2010, but should be done by mid-April.
The facility is expected to open by late June. There are about 100 single rooms in the home. Veterans in the community and in local hospitals can apply to live there.
