A former Camp Lejeune Marine is headed to state prison after his guilty plea Wednesday for killing another man.
William Castro made a plea to second degree murder and was sentenced to between 13 and 15 years in prison.
The 23-year-old Castro shot Kevin Foley over stolen drugs and money back in November 2009, according to prosecutors. The murder took place on Shadowridge Road, outside the home of Foley's mother.
Timothy Lacey already had pleaded guilty in the case to accessory after the fact to murder. He's serving a six to eight year sentence.
