A Camp Lejeune marine who received both the Afghanistan and Iraq Campaign Medal died in a car accident in South Carolina.
24-year-old Corporal Kevin Dabrowski of Massachusetts died saturday in a Jeep accident in Florence, South Carolina. He was a rifleman and joined the marine corps in September 2006. It was nearly 2 years to the day of the accident that he returned from a 7 month deployment and got to hold his 3 month old son for the first time. Both the Marine Corps and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating the accident.
