Camp Lejeune Firefighter Sentenced For Child Porn

A former Camp Lejeune civilian firefighter will spend the next nine years in a federal prison after pleading guilty to downloading child porn.

Shane Green will also have to serve 20 years of supervised release after being sentenced Wednesday in Greenville.

The feds say in May 2011 law enforcement officers detected an IP address that was sharing child porn images over the Internet. They discovered that Green had been downloading the porn while working as a base firefighter.

The 39-year-old Green was sentenced by Senior U.S. District Judge Malcolm Howard.
