Third Recent Camp Lejeune Fatality In Afghanistan

The military says a third Camp Lejeune Marine died recently in Afghanistan.

Lance Corporal, 27 year-old Jeremy Lasher of Madison New York, died Thursday while supporting combat operations in Helmand Province.

Lasher joined the Marine Corps in 2006. He deployed to Afghanistan in May. He was previously in Iraq.

Lasher is the third Camp Lejeune Marine to die in Afghanistan this week.

There were actually 2....according to the DOD website. They were both with 2/8 stationed at Camp Lejune. I pray that God brings comfort to their families now and in the hard days ahead.
