The Army is hosting a free July Fourth celebration at Fort Bragg that includes concerts, carnival rides, food, a parachute demonstration and fireworks.
The Army says the celebration Saturday on the post's main parade field is open to the public.
Singer Julianne Hough opens the event with a 5 p.m. concert, followed by a freefall demonstration by the Army's Golden Knights Parachute Team. Jason Michael Carroll performs in concert at 6:30 p.m.
A flag ceremony at 8:10 p.m. precedes a performance by the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra, including the 1812 Overture, and fireworks.
