Green Berets Killed In Combat Honored At Ceremony

The U.S. Army Special Forces Command will hold a memorial ceremony to honor its 22 Special Forces soldiers lost last year in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The 41st annual Special Forces Memorial Day ceremony will be held at the Army Special Operations Forces Plaza on Monday morning. The plaza is located at the southern end of the Special Operations Command headquarters on Fort Bragg.

Brig. Gen. Michael S. Repass will memorialize both active duty and veterans who have died in the past year. Repass commands the Special Forces worldwide.

The event is hosted by the Special Forces Association. The public is invited to attend.
