SEYMOUR JOHNSON AIR FORCE BASE -- The Navy's Blue Angels jet demonstration team is performing at this weekend's air show at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
The annual event features various flight demonstrations from military and civilian aircraft Saturday and Sunday with performances by the Blue Angels in F/A-18 Hornets to cap the show each afternoon.
The squadron flies in more than 70 shows a year.
The show also features displays of about 25 aircraft and pieces of equipment, ranging from helicopters to sleek fighters and huge transports and aerial tankers.
Jumpers from the Army's Golden Knights parachute team at Fort Bragg also will perform.
