Arsenic Being Investigated In Marine Death

A medical examiner says they are looking at whether arsenic was in the system of Marine who was found dead last week.

Sergeant Timothy Patterson was found dead the day before Thanksgiving at his motel room in Surf City.

Dr. Anuradha Arcot says the autopsy is not yet complete as they are awaiting drug & alcohol results.

The medical examiner says there were no obvious signs of death and investigators asked her to check for arsenic.

Patterson lived at Tiffany's Motel and police say they're not releasing any more details until the cause of death is known.

For you Scott...may you rest in heaven. We miss you. Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

Lynn, What are you talking about Scott did what he thought was best for everyone? I don't know about you or anyone else but I want answers to how he died it's been 40 days since his death and we still don't know any more than we did the day they found him. You know Sara & I have to try and answer Sara and Scotts little 3 year old daughter's questions every day what happened to her dad. I can't give her an answer except to say we don't know yet. She saids she wants to go to heaven and find her dad.Her brother saids please don't leave me,she reaches over and rubs his head and saids I'll stay with you Evan. What is taking so long to find out the cause of his death? We all need answers and especially the Evan and Andrea(Andi)Oma

Scot was not only a great dad, he was an goodson, brother and husband. He was also a confused person that went through wan not one should have to go through. But he did it for you, me and his country. We do not know what was going onin his mind but I do not that he did what HE thought was BEST for everyone involved. No matter what the cause of his death he will be remembered as a person with a big heart and a good heart!!
