A medical examiner says they are looking at whether arsenic was in the system of Marine who was found dead last week.
Sergeant Timothy Patterson was found dead the day before Thanksgiving at his motel room in Surf City.
Dr. Anuradha Arcot says the autopsy is not yet complete as they are awaiting drug & alcohol results.
The medical examiner says there were no obvious signs of death and investigators asked her to check for arsenic.
