More than 100 companies will attend a job fair and education expo for Camp Lejeune Marines who are leaving the Corps.
The semiannual event will be held Thursday at two locations: Marston Pavilion for the expo and Goettge Memorial Field House for the job fair.
Organizer Lee Tuthill says 102 companies are registered to attend, compared to 67 companies last year. More than 1,000 troops are expected to attend.
Five large federal agencies will be represented among the booths, along with local and national companies.
Also attending the fair will be three former troops appearing on behalf of the companies that hired them from the military.
