Woman Arrested On Drug, Failure to Appear In Court Charges During Traffic Stop

A traffic stop ends with the driver arrested for drugs and an outstanding order for arrest for failing to appear in court.

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office arrested 29-year old Marcy Hawkins of Bayboro in Edward Friday night. Authorities say they found 23 grams of a white powder believed to be cocaine under the seat of her car. They also determined she was wanted for failing to appear in Pamlico County Court. Hawkins was taken to the Beaufort County Detention Center where bond was set at $5,500.

To Bruce the Shark, You got it right! It is certainly NOT her fault. It amazes me these people who don't appear in court. It will catch up to you eventually and you made your situation worse. Total idiots.

Let me guess, she didn't know when her court date was and that she was raised right but public education cheated her because the NAACP could not get the UNCF to give her money to go to school to learn to read so that she would know when her court date was. Did I get it right. Oh yes, she is a good person that just has issues, but she still is a good person.
