Woman Airlifted After Crash, Charged With DWI

A woman was airlifted Thursday night in Onslow County after troopers say she crashed her SUV while she was impaired.

Trooper Michael Davis says 49-year-old Donna Workman of Holly Ridge was driving on Old Folkston Road when she lost control in a curve.

Davis says the SUV Workman was driving flipped over and landed on its roof.

Davis says Workman faces driving while impaired and exceeding safe speed charges.

At this time Workman's condition is unknown.

"Impaired" ? She was drunk, tell it like it is; no need to play down the facts . She needs to lose her driviers license or at least some sort of restriction on her driving .

She's the second drunk driver I've seen on old folkstone this week. Who gets drunk that early in the day anyways?
