Snow Totals Up To Seven Inches In Some Spots

The threat of icy roadways continued Sunday morning in areas hardest hit by Saturday's blast of wintry precipitation.

All of Eastern Carolina is dealing with bitterly cold temperatures.

This marks the second time in two weeks that snow has fallen along the beaches. The last storm dumped almost a half foot of snow in Onslow and Carteret counties.

Cold weather is firmly entrenched in Eastern Carolina, with highs this week expected in the high 30s to low 40s and overnight lows in the 20s.

    Dont you all love how only .5-1 inch of snow was predicted and it ended up being 6-7 inches!!!!

    What part of Havelock? We drove through it all day and Morehead had much more than Havelock did.

    An amazing storm. 3-4" here, but just down the road in havelock 7". And 10 miles in New Bern, nothing. Just driving the 3 miles from Walmart took you from heavy snow to flurries.
