24 Fugitives Behind Bars After Two Day Operation

"Operation Joining Forces" has put 24 criminals behind bars in Wilson County.

Wilson County lawmen and the U.S. Marshal teamed up for the operation March 28th and 29th. Within the two-day span, officers arrested 24 fugitives, served 36 warrants and knocked on the door of 118 sex offenders to make sure they were in compliance with laws. That effort resulted in the arrest of three sex offenders.

Officials say the operation is the first of its kind in Wilson County, but it will not be the last.

"We all came together as one and we want to send a loud and clear message to the criminals…you can run, we are coming after you, you can't hide," Scott Parker of the U.S. Marshal said.

Great job officers!!! Now the only problem is with our lame, useless, good-for-nothing judicial system in serving up justice. Odds are most that were locked up are already back out on the street doing the same ole same ole....nothing but a revolving door of money exchanges for the bondsmen, lawyers, judges, etc.....

Kudos to the agencies involved here. The problem here is (not the fault of LEO) that the people they picked up are repeat offenders who should have already been incarcerated, instead of being out on 3 or 4 different "probations". If you are locked up, I KNOW where you are and I don't have to go find you!
