there are different reasons why they would send some to Greenville and some to the local hospital...maybe the severity of their injuries and/or sometimes a local hospital is not able to handle that amount of trauma patients at one time so they split them up.. Some people just pick apart these stories way too much..if you are not happy with WITN's reporting then there are other news pages you can go to...I really wish people would find somewhere else to bicker. There are plenty of social media pages for that....Prayers to these folks..hope all have a speedy recovery whichever hospital they are in...geeze

Greenville has a trauma unit, I think we are the nearest one around, even for Wilson. Plus, if there is a heavy load at a hospital they can alway route victims within a reasonable distance somewhere close by that can handle the overflow...just a thought. Weekends are really busy at all hospitals. Unfortunately, busy because some people use the ER as a dodge from going to the doctor's office where they have to pay.

I see my comment wasn't posted but at least they changed the story. Originally, it said 4 people ran into the truck. I was trying to figure that one out. Now they have added the fact they were in a car. That makes a little more sense.

Either to the hospital in greenville or wilson? Why don't you do some reporting and get all the facts before releasing a story? Journalism 101

I would guess it was a split. The more serious went to Greenville and the minor injuries stayed in town.
