Warming Trend To Develop Across Eastern North Carolina On Thursday

The high pressure that has brought eastern North Carolina unseasonably cold air the past few days will move offshore on Thursday. Winds will return to the southwest bringing warmer air into the area. Highs will reach the seasonable lower 50s Thursday and 60° on Friday. Our warmest day will the Saturday when highs reach the middle 60s. There will be lots of sunshine through the week. The next chance for rain develops late Saturday night and Sunday as a cold front approaches the region.
