Warmer Friday With A Slight Risk Of Showers Across Eastern North Carolina

Cloudy and cool conditions continued throughout the day across eastern North Carolina. The clouds will stay with us overnight with some patchy fog developing. The fog should burn away by mid to late-morning Friday followed by partly sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s. There will be a slight risk of showers during the afternoon. We could hit the lower 80s Saturday ahead of a strong cold front that will bring showers and thunderstorms at night. Cool and wet conditions are likely on Sunday.
