The cold high pressure along the East Coast will move offshore Friday and allow somewhat warmer air to move into the area. Temperatures on Thursday reach close to 40 degrees after several days in the 30s. Many communities will see highs near 50 degrees Friday and into the 50s over the weekend. Clouds will be on the increase and we could see a few showers by Saturday. A much better chance for rain will develop Sunday as a strong cold front pushes into the area. Drier and much colder air will follow the front early next week.
