The unsettled weather pattern across eastern North Carolina will continue through Wednesday. A cold front will push into eastern North Carolina late Wednesday keeping the threat of showers in the forecast through Wednesday night. The front should move off the coast by Thursday morning and that should end the shower threat. It will stay warm for the next few days with highs in the lower to middle 80s. Much cooler air will arrive by late Friday and the weekend.
