Another pleasant day is in the works for Monday. Highs will warm to their seasonal average in the upper 80s before cooling back into the upper 60s overnight. Rain chances will be limited through the first half of the workweek as the heat builds. Afternoon highs will hit the lower 90s with heat indices close to 100 degrees by Wednesday.
We'll keep a watchful eye on an area of low pressure off the Georgia and Florida coast Monday morning. The system will drift stick around the east coast of Florida the next couple of days and could become the first tropical storm of the season by midweek.
