We are remembering a special woman.
Fran Williams of Washington died Tuesday. She was 70.
Fran worked at WITN for nearly 48 years, from 1957 to 2005.
In her role as business manager, she mentored many young staff members and managers.
Fran was a part of the evolution of local television over nearly half a century. She often shared her knowledge and stories from the past.
Fran’s love for her family was immense, and she loved to share tales about her grandchildren.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home in Washington.
