WITNESS: Two Young Men Set Business On Fire

Rocky Mount police say two young men, one carrying a gas can, were seen setting a business hit on fire early Thursday morning.

Cherry's Used Tires on South Washington Street received substantial damage in the 3:30 a.m. fire. Police are calling the fire suspicious.

A witness says after the two young men set the building on fire they left on bicycles toward the George Street bridge.

The fire chief says 75% of the building and its contents were damaged by the fire.
