I used to live on Library, Street and it was a safe place. If needed we would walk to and from Downtown. How sad it is that this is no longer an option!! West Greenville has moved east!!

Gone are the days when you can safely walk home from the downtown ....eh...uptown area after the bars close. Remember when the downtown area was a fun safe place to go & there was lots of great entertainment? Yeah there was the occasional fight but nothing like the crimes that happen today? Why is that? The legal system can't fix the problem because the punishments don't fit the crimes & the prison system is overcrowded with cable tv watching scum as it is. I hate to say it but I think Greenville should drastically raise it's taxes and run the lawless vermin out of town. Yes it will hurt the taxpayers for a while but if the lowlifes can't afford it they will leave & crime will go down. What other choice do we have? How much longer do good honest people have to live in fear of others in this town?

Greenville PD needs to have undercover cops walk around in that area around that time of night. They need to look like a young student and set the idiots up.

I just hope this is not another false report like previous ones accusing blacks when It was not either a crime or was not blacks all together. Please quit judging and figure pointing until all the facts are out. If the accusation is true then they should be punished. Also if you can't be part of a solution don't be part of the problem. Come up with ways in which you think you can make things better. Legally

When oh when will the spineless judges and law makers put this trash on chain gangs for many years for all to see. That would put a dent in this sort of crime

OK then, give em a 40 and some rock inside the walls of a prison. That's a 40 pound steel ball attached to their ankles and rocks to break all day- every day with a sledge hammer.
