Greene County schools held a special benefit concert featuring the Appalachian State University gospel choir. The event was called Hymns for Healing and those who lost their school say healing is needed.

"Once you're personally able to get past the shock value, i think the most important thing is to move forward and make day by day plans for the future," said 8th grade teacher Elizabeth Portnoff.

The middle school principal says he's grateful the storm hit on the weekend, not during school hours. He says what was lost can be rebuilt.
