Dangrous road, I have traveled it a few times. Don't speed, it's not worth a few extra seconds. Don't be stupid!

I agree.. nothing at all wrong with Catfish Lake Road.. you just have to drive with caution as you have to on any highway.. it is NOT the road it is the DRIVERS!! slow down & take your time!!

Going to say it again before all the "pave the roaders" get on here. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that road. It's all how fast the people drive. I've had people pass me on it knowing they were risking their life.

I've been down that road many times. I've never had a wreck, even in poor conditions. When the road hasn't been scraped lately, you have to slow down a little. Some people obviouly don't realize this.

Living down the county doesn't make you a native of this area. The only time the law goes down the road is when there is an accident. That road saves many people time and gas bypassing Pollocksville and New Bern. The people who pass you are the ones who put other drivers at risk. Why not pave it and regulate it?
