Two Pickup Trucks & Boat Collide On Highway 33

Traffic was snarled Thursday afternoon when two pickup trucks collided on Highway 33, one of those pulling a boat.

The crash happened between Greenville and Grimesland near the intersection of Alvin Road around 3:15 p.m.

The pickup truck pulling the boat landed on its side, while the other one ended up on its top. It doesn't appear the boat was damaged.

The Highway Patrol says a red F350 was heading west when it made a left turn in front of a white pickup pulling the boat.

Trooper Jonathan Lee says 24-year-old Thaddeus Crafford of Ayden was charged with failure to yield to oncoming traffic. The driver of the other truck, Danny Hardy of Grimesland, and a passenger in Crafford's vehicle were injured.

Glad your Dad is fine but I think most post are being sarcastic about the boat because of the way WITN handled the article like it was more important than the people involved.
