Two More Arrests Made For Assault On Teen

Two more suspects are now in jail, charged in a fight last month that police say began inside a Greenville nightclub and left a high school student critically injured.

Police have arrested 20-year-old Lakrisha Morgan of Greenville and charged her with accessory and other offenses. Police also charged 30-year-old Yulanda Smith of Greenville with aiding and abetting and other charges. Bond was set at $50,000 for both.

Police had previously charged 17-year-old Shaquille Cannon with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury for the fight they say began near the Fuzion nightclub and ended with 16-year-old Jennifer Godley in critical condition.

A 20 year old and a 30 year old assist in beating down a teenager? They need to do some serious time for such nonsense! North Carolina's Street Gang Suppression Act needs to kick in and put these felons away.
