Drug Suspects Run From Police, Get Caught

Multiple law enforcement agencies worked together Friday morning to arrest two suspected drug dealers.

Lawmen followed 28-year-old Nicholas Headden of Wilmington and 29-year-old Bradford Headden of Jacksonville from New Hanover County to Jacksonville, where Jacksonville police pulled the two over. Police say the suspects stopped, but drove off again when officers approached their car.

They were eventually caught and charged with a number of drug related charges, including possession with intent to sell marijuana, also resisting an officer.

"The apprehension of these subjects was a result of the collective law enforcement efforts of New Hanover County SD, NCSHP, OCSD and SBI," Jacksonville Police Chief Mike Yaniero was quoted as saying in a press release.

Both men are being held on $750,000 bonds.

Totally agree with you. The fact that they had to waste so much time and money with multiple officers to arrest "drug" dealers selling, what is actually the flower of the cannabis plant is totally wasteful. I hope we can legalize it soon so we stop wasting our money and maybe you guys/gals can actually focus on real crimes. It's getting real old people. Stop living in ignorance and read or find the truth about this amazing plant instead of listening to everything the news and pharmaceutical company sponsored TV tells you.

Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun, And when at last the work is done, Don't sit down it's time to dig another one. For long you live and high you fly, But only if you ride the tide, And balanced on the biggest wave, You race towards an early grave.
