The Highway Patrol says two people ejected were from a car Sunday night after the car flipped three and a half times and landed in a ditch.
The wreck happened in the Craven County town of Vanceboro, near the intersection of Highway 118 and Piney Neck Rd.
Troopers say the crash happened when the driver overcorrected and then ran off the road. This sent the vehicle in the air, and ejected the two passengers. The responding trooper says they were not wearing seat belts. He expects both to be released from the hospital. Their names have not been released.
