One of the two teens shot in Kinston Tuesday afternoon was also wounded in another shooting just three weeks ago.

Police say 19-year-old Rashawn Franklin is in stable condition at Vidant Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

A second victim, who is 15, is expected to be released from the hospital this morning.

The victims were found in the 600 block of East Lenoir Avenue in Kinston shortly after 4:00 p.m.

Police have not released any more details about the shooting, which is the city's second in four days.

Franklin was shot on March 19th. Police say they received a call about shots fired on Marilyn Drive and a short time later Franklin showed up at Lenoir Memorial Hospital after being shot in the right arm.

A check showed Franklin got out of prison in February for an assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill conviction.
