Trees For Troops

Hundreds of troops at Camp Lejeune got a free Christmas tree Wednesday thanks to the generosity of others.

The Christmas Spirit Foundation and FedEx handed out the trees to military personnel and their families.

Over 800 live Christmas trees were distributed to any active duty or retired Marine, servicemember and their family.

Those giving out the trees say this is a way to give back to military personnel who give so much year around.

This is the third annual "Trees for Troops" giveaway at Camp Lejeune. The marine Corps Community Services also assisted in the giveaway.
