Greenville police say a reward up to $5,000 is being offered for information on who shot two East Carolina students and a third man over the weekend at a party.
Jalen Bynum of Burlington, and Tyler Nicholson of Raleigh, both who are ECU students, along with Johncie Wilson of Greensboro were wounded in the shooting early Saturday morning at Bellamy Apartments. Police say a man pulled out a handgun and fired into the crowd, striking the three men.
Police Tuesday afternoon said the owners of the apartment complex are partnering with Pitt-Greenville Crime Stoppers to get information on this case. So far police have only released a broad description of the gunman.

Two East Carolina University students and a third man were shot inside a Greenville apartment complex this weekend.
Greenville police say three people were reported shot at the Bellamy Apartments around 12:50 a.m. Sunday.
A police report lists the victims as Jalen Bynum, 19, of Burlington, Tyler Nicholson, 20, of Raleigh and Johncie Wilson, 21 of Greensboro. ECU says Bynum and Nicholson are students at the university.
Pitt County Memorial Hospital says they have no patient information on Bynum and Nicholson, while Wilson was treated and released from the hospital.
Officials said the shootings happened inside an apartment during a party. The detective on the case has 40 or more witnesses to interview as he works to piece the case together.
One of the victims, who did not want to be identified, told WITN News he he went with friends to a party at the Bellamy early Sunday morning. The victim told us he wasn't there three minutes before he saw people running from building 2221.
The man says when he turned to run back to the parking lot, he heard three to four shots. He says two of those bullets hit him in the leg. The victim is now thinking twice about going to any more house parties.
The Bellamy Apartments are located on Bellamy Circle, off County Home Rd. on the south side of Greenville.
