Three Hurt After Pickup Truck Lands Upside Down

Three people were sent to Pitt County Memorial Hospital after a two vehicle accident that left one of the vehicles upside down on a Greenville street.

It took place at the intersection of 4th Street and Brownlea Drive around 12:55 p.m.

Greenville police say the two people in the flipped pickup truck have non-life threatening injuries, while the other driver, an elderly woman, was pinned in her vehicle. That driver, according to police, may have serious injuries.

The woman that is in the hospital is in critical condition with 12 broken ribs on one side and two on the other and has a broken collar bone. She has since had to have a trach and halo. Please keep her in your prayers.
