A nice weather pattern will continue across eastern Carolina through Friday. High pressure moving across New England will maintain a north to northeast flow across the area during the day. Winds along the coast may gust to 25 mph at times while inland communities will see northeast winds at 7 to 15 mph. Afternoon highs will reach the middle 70s under partly to mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies.
Little change is expected as we go through the weekend with partly cloudy skies and highs remaining in the mid to upper 70s.
Temperatures will warm into the low 80s next week as the dry pattern continues.
