Saturday Temperatures About 20 Degrees Below Average

Partly cloudy, cooler weather will continue Sunday, but the highs will be in the upper 70s.

At 1:00 p.m. Saturday, it was 63 degrees in Washington, about 20 degrees cooler than average for this time of year. That was echoed across Eastern Carolina.

The weather will warm up this week, with highs returning to the lower 80s by Tuesday. There is a chance of isolated thunderstorms later in the week.

Are you kidding??? After three months of over 90's temps, and little rainfall, the last two days low temps. has been a wonderful blessing. We opened our windows and got a fresh breeze two days in a row; quite nice.
