Two people have been charged with last month's fire at a former school that was still owned by Wayne County schools.
On April 11th some $500,000 in damage was done to the Belfast School after deputies say two teens broke in and set fire to the gym.
Charged with felony B&E and burning of a school building are Daniel Mooring of Fremont and Joshua Tucker of Goldsboro. Both teens are 16-years-old and their bond was set at $30,000.
The building used to be an old elementary school, but is now used by the W.A.G.E.S. Head Start program.
