A Washington teen is in jail, accused multiple counts of breaking and entering, breaking into a church, breaking into vehicles, and safecracking.
Washington police arrested Michael Ballantyne of Bonner Street on Friday. He's charged with three counts of B&E, four counts of larceny after B&E, B&E of a motor vehicle and safecracking. He was also wanted for the B&E of a church in Pitt County. Beaufort County deputies have warrants for the 19-year-old as well.
Police say additional charges are expected and Ballantyne's bond was set at $95,000.
