A teacher on paid leave from Martin County Schools waived a court appearance Wednesday.
24-year-old LeAnn Dwiggins is accused of committing two sex offenses in May and June with someone between the ages of 13 and 15 while she was a teacher at Bear Grass. She is also charged with statutory rape.
Dwiggins was put on paid leave from South Creek Middle in Robersonville when the charges were filed.
Deputies say the woman waived her probable cause hearing, No new court date hasn't been released.
