A multi-agency task force set up by the U.S. Marshal Service has been busy all this week trying to round up wanted men and women in Pitt County.
Dubbed "operation all hands on deck," the task force presented the results Friday on the steps of the Pitt County Courthouse.
Of the 271 warrants they began with Monday, 138 of those were served, with 101 people being arrested. Sheriff Neil Elks says it's a testament to good team work.
Warrants included high profile cases, as well as simple assaults, domestic incidents, probation violations, and failure to appear in court.
