CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - No. 3 national seed North Carolina will host Stanford at Boshamer Stadium in the 2011 NCAA Chapel Hill Super Regional. The Tar Heels (48-14) and Cardinal (35-20) will open the best-of-three series Friday with the winner advancing to the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.
The series kicks off at 3 p.m. Friday on ESPN, with game two slated for 3 p.m. Saturday on ESPN. If needed, game three will be played Sunday at 4 p.m. on ESPN
All-session tickets are available during an exclusive presale to supporters of the baseball program. Should tickets remain after the presale, all session regional packages will go on sale to the general public at 8 pm Tuesday, June 7.
The priority deadline to request tickets is Tuesday, June 7 at 5 pm. Qualifying presale groups include Active Rams Club Members, Season and Mini Season ticket holders, Members of the Diamond Heels, as well as UNC Students and Faculty Staff.

Stanford earned a spot in the Supers with a win over Illinois Sunday night in the NCAA Fullerton Regional, while UNC swept through the NCAA Chapel Hill Regional to earn its fifth Super Regional appearance in the last six years.
The Tar Heels and Cardinal last met in head coach Mike Fox's first season as the Tar Heel skipper at the Palo Alto Regional. Stanford claimed a 7-4 win in the 1999 regional round.
