UPDATE: Suspicious Death At Craven Terrace In New Bern

We now know the name of the 79 year-old man that died in the hospital Monday after he was discovered in his apartment Friday with a head injury.

Police in New Bern are investigating the death as suspicious. According to the New Bern Sun Journal Alphonsa Morris was found by maintenance workers at Craven Terrace. The workers say they found Morris lying on the floor, suffering from a head injury. He was airlifted to Pitt County Memorial Hospital and died Monday morning.

New Bern police say on Friday, officers received a call about a 79-year-old man found by maintenance workers at Craven Terrace.
