Suspect Arrested In Shooting Outside Jacksonville Nightclub

A suspect is behind bars, charged in a New Year's day shooting outside a Jacksonville nightclub that resulted in the club losing its liquor license.

Jacksonville Police arrested 20-year-old Norman Hill of Maysville and charged him with two counts of attempted first-degree murder. Authorities say he shot 22-year-old Bakari Lockhart and 21-years-old Shabazz Chapman outside the Rock Nightclub early Saturday morning.

Bond is set at 50,000.

Well now this fine upstanding citizen gets to go to jail where he will be with all his friends and peers. Three meals a day heatlh care weight lifting and basketball all paid for by honest hard working people. Something sure seems wrong here.

I agree people must learn to make better decisions and to think about their future. But not sure what rap music has to do with it, what genre of music was blamed for the rapist, church officals touching children, people who drink and drive music has nothing to do with it. Better choices just need to be made by EVERYONE.

People who carry guns and commit these types of crimes are cowards. What does it take to steer these young kids on the right track?

Another big man that had to use a gun. When will theses dolts learn? It is a crying shame that the prisons are full of AA males that thinks shooting someone is a good idea. Maybe instead of ban guns maybe we should ban rap music. After all isn't that where all theses thugs get their bright ideas from.
